Joesph D. Haworth, age 91,

  Joseph D. Haworth, 91, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at his home.  Joe “Papaw” was a native of Clarksville, Indiana.  He was married to Margaret and they spent their time dancing and taking care of their family.   He was a retired Millwright from Colgate.  He was a member of VFW Post 1832, American Legion Post 35, and the Moose Lodge.   He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, his daughter Patricia L. Stocksdale, his great-grandsons Ryan and Drew Stocksdale, and his brothers Richard, Jimmy, Wilbur, Billy and his sisters Jenny, Wilnona, and Babe.  He is survived by his sister Betty Ann Coons and his  4 Grandchildren, Leon Stocksdale, Jr (Bobbie), Jacalyn Dickman, Judy Stocksdale, and Bob Stocksdale (Melody), his 8 Great-Grandchildren, Robby Stocksdale (Kirsten), Brian Haulter, Morgan Stocksdale Ash, Patrick Haulter (Crystal), Madison Dickman, Alanna Stocksdale Scott (Aaron), Damien Dickman and Derek Stocksdale, and his 5  great-great grandchildren, Nora, Sammy, Emily, Ryann and Cora.  Joe “Papaw” was well known for his silver Cadillac and being “Papaw on Patrol”. His family was the love of his life and he was theirs.  Funeral Services will be held at Coots’ Sons Funeral Home on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 1pm, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Joe’s Family will welcome visitors on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 4 pm – 8 pm to celebrate the life of Papaw Haworth.

    Uncle Joe was such a sweetheart. Always cutting up & fooling Aunt Margaret. Always remember how he would hide her Christmas gift - usually NICE jewels. He was a great man. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
