Kenneth Steward, 87, passed away Tuesday, October 01, 2013 at RobleyRexVAMedicalCenter in Louisville, KY. He was  a native of Utica, IN. Kenneth was an Army Veteran and served in WWII. He was a member of American Legion Post 35 in Jeffersonville and he retired from A&P as a Journeyman Meat Cutter.

He is survived by his daughters Beverly Haire and husband Brent of Jeffersonville, IN., Patricia Haag and husband David of Memphis, IN.; 6 grandchildren Travis Haire, Scott Haire, Elizabeth Wright, David Haag II, Ryan Haag, Kristy Hamilton; 6 great –grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Christine Steward; father William Taylor Steward; mother Inez Steward.

Funeral service will be Friday, October 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in WalnutRidgeCemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and Friday from 11a.m. to service at the funeral home.
